Peter Pan had come to get his shadow that he had forgetten in the house sometime before. Wendy saw him crying asked the reason. Peter Pan said: ‘I don’t have a mother. I’m crying because I can’t stick on my shadow’. Wendy saw his shadow on the floor and sweet it. Wendy asked his age but he wouldn’t answer it. Peter told his story to Wendy: ‘I escaped from home the day I was born.’ I didn’t want to grow up and become a man. So, I escaped to Kensington Park and I lived for a long time with the fairies.’ Wendy asked Mary questions about fairies and the land where Peter lives. Peter told about the last children and said that he and the last children were living in never, Never Land.The lost children were from Kensington Gardens. Peter asked Wendy to go to Never, Never Land and said she could mother the destitute children. There were an island.On the island the children lived together with pirates, red indians and wild animals.
